If your child or teen is struggling with anxiety, big emotions, social difficulties, or a major life change like divorce and you’re not sure how to help you’re in the right place.
I work primarily with young people ages 6–19 who may be having trouble making or keeping friends, managing their feelings, or adjusting to changes at home or school. Often these kids are bright and capable but something is getting in the way and they may not have the words to tell you what it is.
I’ve spent over 40 years working with children and families. I served as an elementary school counselor in the Lake Washington School District for 22 years, led therapeutic social skills groups for over two decades through Wally’s Club in Seattle and Casey’s Clubhouse in Kirkland, and have taught in schools across six countries. That breadth of experience means I understand young people not just in the therapy room, but in the classrooms, friendships, and family dynamics that shape their daily lives.
